The President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, celebrated the resolution of the Electoral Tribunal of the Judiciary of the Federation (TEPJF) for continuity in the popular election de jueces, ministros y magistrados del Poder Judicial, organized by the Instituto Nacional Electoral (INE).

“This is a very important resolution, recalling that in the case of electoral procedures, the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation has no legal interest, it has no possibility of resolution specific to the Electoral Court”, said Claudia Sheinbaum.

On the other hand, the President of Mexico confirmed that she had carried out investigations into the case of a young person who was at the point of being monitored by elements of the National Guard in Culiacán.

“Hay investigations,” replied Sheinbaum, in this case, which occurred on October 7, while an agent in charge of the civil action, with the argument that he was part of a criminal cell and transported armed subjects.
