Southampton e-scooter rider suffers life-threatening injuries

An electric scooter driver was seriously injured after crashing into a parked car, police said.

Officers were called to Waterhouse Lane, near the junction with Victory Road in Southampton at 04:05 BST on Saturday.

A 22-year-old man from Southampton was taken to hospital with “serious and potentially life-threatening injuries”, Hampshire Police said.

The force has appealed for people with dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage to contact us.
