Arrests after man injured in knife attack in Brierley Hill

Two young people were arrested after an 18-year-old man was seriously injured by a stab wound.

Police were called to reports of a serious assault on High Street, Brierley Hill, at around 6.30pm BST on Thursday.

The victim was taken to hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.

An 18-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy have since been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
