Teenager shot and injured in Limerick city

A teenager has been shot and injured in Limerick city.

Gardaí are currently investigating a shooting last night in Weston, Limerick, which left one person injured.

The man, aged in his 20s, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to University Hospital Limerick.

He remains in stable condition.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.

They are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who was in the area of ​​Hyde Road in the Ballinacurra area on Sunday evening between 7.30pm and 8.30pm.

Any road users or pedestrians traveling in the area with camera footage during this period are also asked to contact Gardaí.
