  • The drilling will build on previous wellbore reentry in the Mansur project area, which tested lithium concentrations of up to 148 mg/l (see press release from January 26, 2023), and flow rate tested up to 528 m3/day (see press releases from September 29, 2021 And February 22022).

With previous lithium concentration tests of 96 mg/l to 148 mg/l, no H2S or oilfield contaminants in the brines and a relatively shallow depth in the target formation, this project is expected to provide significant competitive advantages, particularly a reduction in investments and operations. costs per ton, compared to other lithium brine projects in North America.

Drilling of well 1-29 is expected to take approximately one week. After drilling, testing in the target formation to assess brine concentration will begin and is expected to last an additional three weeks.
