(Society)Justice Department Forces Two Filipina Housekeepers to Leave “Unauthorized Departure”

Two Filipino national managers who entered the country as part of a pilot project for a foreign national manager and were arrested after leaving their accommodation without authorization have returned to their home country.

The Ministry of Justice indicated on the 10th that two Filipino domestic workers had been forced to leave for the Philippines.

They reportedly expressed their desire to return home without raising objections to the departure notice during the immigration authorities’ investigation.

Previously, they entered Korea in August to participate in a pilot project for foreign national cadres promoted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and were arrested in Busan two weeks after leaving their accommodation without authorization on the 15th of last month. .
