Alessandro Cogoni is “Barman of the Year”

October 22 and October 22 awards night. The Swiss Bar Awards begin. The jury, formed by experts and experts from Swiss bars, offers you preparation courses for the best Swiss bartenders, bartenders and bars. Round 300 geladene Gäste waren an der Preisverleihung dabei.

The participants of the Königsdisziplin “Barman of the Year” were presented at the awards evening with two cocktail creations – a shortdrink and a longdrink. The 34-year-old Alessandro Cogoni, Barman der Jo. Neighborhood bar in Fribourg, überzeugte mit seinen eigenen Cocktail creations “Querencia” and “East 8th Street” by the jury.

Mit Anthony Christen gets professional talent for Zug with the title “Best Bartending Talent 2024”. The 20-year-old bartender at Baar works in the Dr. Zhivago bar in Zurich. The “Best Newcomer Bar 2024” award takes place in the canton of Zug. Die Auszeichnung für die beste Neu- ouder Wiedereröffnung geht an das Hidén Harlekin Jazz Kissa. In January 2023, the Bar Innerhalb Kurzer Zeit Sowohl in der Jazz – as well as the Barszene einen Namen Gemacht, awarded the Swiss Bar Awards.

The Hinz & Kunz bar in Basel has won the “Best Longseller Bar 2024” ausgezeichnet award. For 10 years, the bar has been a must-see place in Basel. The prize for the best bar menu 2024 was awarded to the Igniv bar in Zurich. Die Barkarte wurde en Zusammenarbeit mit dem Küchenteam kuratiert. The Igniv Bar brings guests from the world of fine drinks, as does the gourmet restaurant näher.

The Lakeview Bar & Cigar Lounge at the Bürgenstock Resort in Obbürgen is the best hotel bar 2024. The Bar & Cigar Lounge is also the Herzstück at the Bürgenstock Resorts.
The team at the Louis Bar at the Art Deco Hotel Montana in Lucerne has been named “Best Bar Team 2024”. The bar team and bar manager Levent Yilmaz are part of a multicultural group, self-motivation and innovation in the avant-garde group and in the workspace.

Ausschreibung startete im May
The Swiss Bar Awards started in May with the training. The professional jury was elected last June for the initial proposals and for the nominative applications from the shortlist. In the category “Bartender of the Year” and “Best Bartending Talent” (years 2001–2005), the bartender must be in the month of August of his life, as well as his creations and his quality creations for his best talents.
