Fabulous lives versus Bollywood wives released on Netflix on October 18, 2024 and starring Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, Bhavana Panday and Seema Sajdeh, along with three new faces, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Shalini Passi and Kalyani Saha. While the series attracts a lot of attention by presenting a glimpse into the lives of high society women, another fact recently raised eyebrows, and it had a connection to Orry, aka Orhan Awatramani.

Recently, a Reddit user posted a screenshot of Orhan Awatramani aka Orry’s story on IG, in which he called out the creators of Fabulous lives versus Bollywood wives for copying its content and not giving it due credit. Orry posted a video of the show and mentioned that it was a “cheap copy of his reel”. Orry added how disheartening it is that content creators work very hard to bring out the best in ideas, which takes them months to do the same, while their ideas are copied and people don’t don’t even give credit to the original creator for plagiarizing their content. Calling it a shame, Orry said it was “unethical.”

Although the motive behind this post cannot be verified as of now, Orry deleted the post after a while and posted a rather complimentary post for the recently released series, Fabulous lives versus Bollywood wives. And such an incident left netizens confused. While some users said it could have been a promotional tactic, others pointed out how Orry agreed to commit a scandal to get attention.

For the uninformed, Orry recently made his acting debut and shot for a commercial for digital brand Croc. Talking about the same, the internet sensation added that it has been a long journey from creating reels to shooting an advertisement. Well, he apparently took a dig at Karan Johar and his nepotism debate. Orry said that even though it hasn’t been launched by Karan Johar, which most people want, it is launched with the filmmaker and hence he is a little anxious. He also added that he couldn’t spoil it, and that he was another junior actor on his first project for Karan, and by that, he meant his achievements.
