63-year-old man arrested after attack on street cleaner

Footage seen by BBC News NI appears to show three street cleaners fighting a man at around 03:00 BST on Thursday on Great Victoria Street in the city centre.

In a statement, Belfast City Council said it was “aware” of the footage and was “urgently” investigating the incident.

The PSNI previously said it was “assessing the content” of the footage and “contacting Belfast City Council” as part of the investigation.
