Jigra Director Vasan Bala Deletes Twitter Account, Instagram Still Active

Vasan Bala, filmmaker and director of Jigra deleted his X (formerly Twitter) account after facing incessant online trolling. Controversies plague Jigra

Earlier this month, actress Divya Khosla Kumar accused Alia Bhatt of manipulating the film’s box office figures. Sharing an Instagram story, Khosla alleged that Bhatt bought tickets to inflate the numbers. In her story, she also shared an image of an empty cinema, mocking the film’s reported earnings.
Manipuri actor Bujou Thaangjam also alleged that he was treated unprofessionally by Jigra’s casting team. He claimed he was promised a role in the film which never materialized.
