Three men who filmed themselves gang-raping a 13-year-old girl have been jailed for a total of 34 and a half years.

Paul Maxwell, 24, Kayon Bola, 29, and Jeremiah Jackson, 24, met the girl outside a tube station in Hammersmith on September 30 last year, the Metropolitan Police said.

They lured the girl to Maxwell’s apartment where she was raped by all three.

CCTV showed the group traveling from the train station towards the apartment, while further phone analysis also revealed a short video clip of the three men carrying out their attack, the force said.

After a three-week trial at Southwark Crown Court, all three men were found guilty of rape, with Maxwell found guilty of an additional charge on July 22 this year.

On Friday, Maxwell, of Shepherd’s Bush, was sentenced to 12 and a half years in prison.

Bhola, of no fixed address, and Jackson, of Acton, were both jailed for 11 years.

Detective Constable Will Murphy, who led the investigation, said: “Firstly, I would like to thank the victim for her continued support in this matter and for her extreme courage in coming forward and reporting the incident to the police.

“This has been a difficult investigation. However, through the dedicated efforts of my team, we were able to secure convictions. I hope the victim feels justice has been served.

“Today’s sentencing highlights how despicable this crime was and Maxwell, Bhola and Jackson will now face the consequences of their horrific actions. The Met is here to support victims of sexual assault and to provide the best possible care. Do not hesitate to come and see us.

The victim read a victim impact statement in which she said: “I have replayed the date a million times thinking about what I could have done differently to change the outcome of what happened to me.

“No matter what I change, it would have ended the same way. That’s because these three men, grown men, knew exactly what they were going to do as soon as they saw me in Hammersmith.

“I was caught alone and vulnerable. But that shouldn’t have mattered.
