However, despite being a female solo film and Alia’s action avatar; he failed to capitalize on the buzz. The film opened to a lukewarm response at the box office and failed to set or break any records. Moreover, it also became one of Alia Bhatt’s most mediocre films. Vasan had revealed in a latest interview that he was taking the weak response to the film one day at a time.

“For me, it was always a struggle to release the film. But this time, it was obvious that the film was going to be released and in a big way.
