Tom surprises Amelia with his latest move to Emmerdale and she is in danger | Soaps

Fears are growing for Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) in upcoming episodes of Emmerdale, as she continues to be in the clutches of evil Tom King (James Chase).

Tom began a relationship with Amelia after Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) told him that she had had enough of his coercive, controlling and abusive behavior and that their marriage was over. While Belle saw all too clearly that Tom was using Amelia to try to make her jealous and pick on her, poor Amelia is totally seduced by his superficial charm.

Benevolent and somewhat gullible, Amelia was easily influenced by Tom, who made her believe that he was the victim in his relationship with Belle.

He described Belle as violent and out of control of her own mental health, and claimed that the abuse allegations Belle made against him were entirely made up by her.

When Tom disappeared from the village, afraid that Belle’s brother Cain (Jeff Hordley) would attack him, we quickly saw that Amelia was still in contact with him. After being hospitalized when Belle attacked him with an ax in self-defense, Amelia always took his side.

Chas (Lucy Pargeter), Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson) and others have tried to talk sense into Amelia, but she is seduced by Tom and believes he loves her.

Lydia (Karen Blick) almost managed to get through to her, but when Amelia asked Tom about his true feelings, he managed to trick her with some sweet words, and she was convinced that his feelings for her were genuine.

In future episodes, Amelia is delighted when Tom arranges a date for the two of them. As they meet at the Woolpack, this public display of the fact that they are a couple is everything Amelia wanted.

But, as always with Tom, there is another agenda. He is partly putting on a show for the benefit of Chas and the other Dingles, showing them that he can continue to do exactly what he loves in the village.

And one thing is certain: Amelia may think he cares about her, but she is in grave danger as soon as she is no longer useful to him.
