Murder in Middlesbrough pub attack: guilty plea to manslaughter

A 26-year-old man has admitted killing a man who was attacked in a pub.

Carl James, 42, was injured at the Jack and Jill in Crossfell Road, Middlesbrough, around 6:00 p.m. BST on May 11.

Mr James, from the town, was taken to hospital where he died from his injuries.

Curtis Tudor, of Welburn Grove, Ormesby, pleaded guilty to manslaughter at Teesside Crown Court on Tuesday. He is due to be sentenced by the same court on November 28.
