Chinese state councilor calls for boosting employment, culture and tourism consumption

FUZHOU — Chinese State Councilor Shen Yiqin called for continued efforts to expand employment and boost consumption related to culture and tourism during a recent research tour in eastern Fujian Province of China.

During her tour, she visited enterprises, industrial parks, traditional villages and human resource centers in the cities of Quanzhou and Fuzhou. She also spoke with government officials, entrepreneurs and experts.

Shen called for efforts to create more and better job opportunities, optimize public employment services and step up support for job seekers facing difficulties in finding employment.

She also stressed the importance of strengthening the preservation and heritage of cultural heritage and promoting the integrated development of culture and tourism.
