Nigel Farage, milkshake thrower, pleads guilty to assault

A woman has pleaded guilty to assault by beating after throwing a milkshake at Nigel Farage, the British Reform leader.

Victoria Thomas Bowen, 25, appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday, where she also admitted criminal damage after causing damage worth £17.50 to a jacket belonging to James Woolfenden, l Mr Farage’s security guard.

Mr Farage, who is now MP for Clacton, was sprayed as he left the Moon and Starfish Wetherspoon pub in the Essex seaside town on June 4, following an election rally.

He previously addressed supporters at a rally during the general election campaign and ended up with the milkshake splashed all over his dark blue suit.

Ms Thomas Bowen, who worked as a model on the adult site OnlyFans, initially denied the charges and was due to stand trial on Monday.

She changed her plea to guilty before the proceedings began.
