Mike Tyson shows off Butterbean in footage before Jake Paul fight | Boxing | Sport

Mike Tyson made Butterbean eat his words, as new footage emerged of the heavyweight boxer training hard for his fight against Jake Paul. Iron Mike will face influencer-turned-boxer Paul on November 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, in a fight that many have called controversial due to the significant age gap between the two men.

While Tyson appears to have trained hard for the fight, former professional boxer Butterbean – real name Eric Esch – had criticized the American’s body shape, saying the 58-year-old looked “pregnant”. Butterbean previously said: “I saw Mike about three weeks ago and he looked pregnant.”

He then added: “I would knock him out. He doesn’t have a chin. The problem with the people who lost to Tyson is they didn’t challenge him.”

However, Tyson showed off those critical words from Butterbean, posting behind-the-scenes footage of himself training hard for the fight – looking in better shape than ever.

In the video posted on social media platform He captioned the video: “While Jake keeps talking, I’m going to keep training. I’m going to fuck him.”

As the veteran boxer continues to train for the November 15 fight, it appears Paul, 27, is also working hard in the ring as he allegedly broke an unwritten boxing rule during a training session . Paul shared a video of himself knocking down his sparring partner with a powerful right hook, before addressing the camera directly, saying: “Don’t try to charge at me, Tyson.”

This footage has been deemed controversial because it is somewhat of an unwritten rule to share combat footage with the public. This is because the training ring is considered a sanctuary for fighters and should be used as a place to hone your skills – not for public calls on your opponent.

The fight between Paul and Tyson was not without controversy, with many boxing big names – including Butterbean – calling it a “scam” and not a true fight between professionals.

Promoter Eddie Hearn is among those criticizing the fight, saying no one really wants this fight to happen.

Speaking to The Sun, Hearn said: “I don’t think there’s a single boxer who really wants this fight to happen. So they’re looking at it from a different angle, they’re looking at it from numbers, they” I’m looking for hype there and I understand that this freak show could well do good numbers.
