School administrator accused of child sex crimes, Peoria police say

PEORIA, AZ (AZFamily) — A West-MEC school administrator has been arrested on multiple counts of sex crimes against children, according to the Peoria Police Department.

Peoria police said Christopher “CJ” Williams, 44, who works as the school’s assistant superintendent of student services, was arrested on multiple counts of sexual conduct with a minor, sexual abuse , sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of assault.

Peoria police arrested 44-year-old Christopher. "C.J." Williams on September 28, 2024.

Police began investigating on the night of September 25 after authorities were informed of the so-called “relationship.” Peoria police arrested him on September 28.

Court documents obtained by the Arizona family showed that authorities learned the girl and Williams began “dating” in June 2024.

The documents specified that the two had gone to the movies and a coffee shop in public and that the girl would “sneak out” to see Williams before he went to work at West-MEC.

Graphic details in arrest documents shed light on alleged sexual abuse.

A search warrant on the victim’s phone allegedly revealed that nude images were shared between them and that he told the girl that “he loves her.”

“It’s totally inappropriate,” said Kristopher Babros of the Peoria Police Department.

Police also allege Williams forced the victim to use an app known for its privacy so he could hide his conversations.

The victim then told detectives that Williams knew she was only 16 years old.

“All of these sexual offenses are alarming and, you know, disturbing,” Babros said.

In an interview, Williams said the girl was 16 but if the accusations had anything to do with her, they were “false” and he needed a lawyer.

West-MEC told Arizona’s Family that the administration is “fully cooperating with law enforcement officials” and that Williams is on leave.

“These predators are trying to elicit responses, responses from these juvenile females and these juvenile males, by trying to groom these individuals and trying to get certain things from them,” Babros said.

Peoria Police say anyone with information is asked to call the department at 623-773-8383.

Williams is being held in the Maricopa County Jail on $250,000 cash-only bail.
