Tubi has a must-see Halloween movie you probably haven’t seen – and you can watch it for free

When it comes to horror movies, I’ve become somewhat desensitized to the usual tricks. I’m not interested in jump scares, I’m a hound dog and I don’t like mundane goods. So most of this can still be entertaining, but these tropes rarely keep me coming back for more. I often crave a horror that can get under my skin and linger. That’s why I was so pleasantly surprised by 2015’s found footage gem, “Hell House LLC,” which is now streaming for free on Tubi.

From start to finish, this film strives to remain as stubbornly realistic as possible – except for the supernatural elements that we should all agree and disagree on. Because of this, “Hell House LLC” exudes a sense of authenticity, making it feel like something that could have actually happened. The found footage format is extremely difficult to get right, and in fact I feel irritated when I see it used without regard to what might actually happen in real life.
