UAE: How to file a complaint against telecom operators for unstable internet and poor phone signal – News

Are you facing poor signal issues, unstable internet connection on your mobile phone or poor TV services at home?

UAE residents can file a complaint against Du, Etisalat or any other telecom operator, and the service is completely free.

Complaints can be made through the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) mobile app, its website or through the call center. In addition to individuals, businesses and government entities can apply for this service.

This service aims to support customers in resolving any dispute that may arise between them and their telecom service providers. At first, customers have to file a complaint with the telecom operator, and if they are not satisfied with the resolution of the problem, then they use this TDRA service.

Here is a guide:

Required documents

  • Emirates ID
  • Commercial license (for businesses)
  • Supporting documents (if available)

Measures

  • Log in to the TDRA website tdra.gov.ae.
  • Click on the “Most Used” section under “Digital Services”.
  • Choose “Complaint about telecommunications providers”.
  • Log in with your UAE Pass.
  • Provide the required documents and click Submit.
  • After reviewing the complaint, TDRA will send a response regarding the complaint and resolve the dispute.
  • There will be an evaluation of customer satisfaction regarding the resolution of complaints.

Processing time

Five to 20 business days (If the complaint is classified as complex, the process may take longer.)
