Viral This Week: Ruto’s Latest Child Whispers To Him, Land Cruiser Owner Pleads To Crowd

The third week of October 2024 has been a mixed one for Kenyans as there have been some heartwarming moments while others have collectively broken hearts.

In a particularly heartwarming moment, President William Ruto’s youngest daughter was seen whispering to him during a church service.

However, it wasn’t a very good week for a Landcruiser driver whose car was badly burned after a crash.

1. William Ruto’s daughter whispers to him sweetly

President William Ruto’s youngest daughter Mia stole the show by briefly whispering to him during a service at Nairobi’s AIC Milimani Church.

The girl leaned slightly behind her political father as the two had a brief, hushed conversation. Social media users were left in awe of the adorable gesture as the two showed off their bond in a viral video.

Some people were also shocked that Mia, who they had first seen as a little girl, turned out to be a beautiful teenager.

2. Land Cruiser owners plead to a rabid crowd

An angry mob set fire to a brand new Toyota Land Cruiser after it allegedly ran over a couple in Ruaka.

Outraged residents gathered at the scene, blocking the highway and causing a major traffic jam to protest frequent accidents in the area.

A video was released showing the owner desperately pleading with the angry crowd to spare the car. Despite his pleas, the crowd ignored him and set fire to the luxury SUV worth KSh27 million.

3. Gachagua’s son accompanies him to the Senate

Kevin Gachagua, one of former Vice President Rigathi Gachagua’s sons, walked alongside him as they arrived at the Parliament building in Nairobi.

Both looked good in their suits as they headed to Parliament ahead of Rigathi’s impeachment trial.

Kevin’s gesture towards his father in difficult times touched several social media users, as shown in the comments on the video.

4. Daughter refuses dad’s car gift

A mother who abandoned her daughter 15 years ago tried to give her a car for her graduation, but it backfired.

The mother accompanied the car with a handwritten card explaining her past decisions, her regrets and her desire to make amends.

However, the ex-daughter refused the expensive gift, saying she didn’t need it.

5. The son of the late Princess Jully appeals for help

Kenyans have been plunged into mourning after learning of the death of veteran singer Luo Benga, Princess Jully.

The musician, who said earlier this year that he was living with HIV, died while undergoing treatment.

Her son, Makajully Kenya, confirmed the news online after rumors of Jully’s death began circulating online, and he is now appealing to leaders and other Kenyans to help him bury his mother .

Gerald Mwangi, aka Makanga Bae, tragically died on the night of Thursday, October 10, from his injuries in a fatal accident more than a week earlier.

He was seriously injured, leading to the amputation of his leg, which ultimately led to his death.

A video shared before the crash captured some of Mwangi’s final moments at a local restaurant in Makongeni, where he was seen dozing while waiting for passengers.

Meet Chef Misheveve of Trans Nzoia

In another story, Protus Wechuli Sifuna, a chief from Saboti in Trans Nzoia County, became famous for his hilarious approach to solving his community’s problems.

The middle-aged chef has become popular thanks to his videos, the most common being one where he talks about how a man killed his father after an argument over vegetables.

According to many who have watched his hilarious videos, he is smart, funny, down to earth and always available for his people.
