Martin Scorsese produced the Beatles ’64 documentary to be released in November

Martin Scorsese’s highly anticipated documentary about the Beatles’ historic 1964 tour of America will debut on Disney+ Hotstar on November 29. It is directed by David Tedeschi.

The Beatles’ official Instagram account shared the announcement on October 14 and wrote: “Get ready to experience the electrifying moment when The Beatles first landed in America. Beatles ’64, an all-new documentary from producer Martin Scorsese and director David Tedeschi, is streaming exclusively on @disneyplus on November 29 (sic).”

Beatles ’64 offers a never-before-seen glimpse into the band’s Beatlemania-fueled journey, with never-before-seen footage of their performances and interactions with their beloved fans. Additionally, the documentary includes new interviews with the two surviving Beatles, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.

Alongside Scorsese, the documentary also stars Margaret Bodde, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Olivia Harrison, Sean Ono Lennon, Jonathan Clyde and Mikaela Beardsley, with Jeff Jones and Rick Yor serving as executive producers.

Before producing the Beatles documentary, Martin Scorsese directed George Harrison: Living in the Material World, a documentary about the Liverpudlian guitarist and his travels to India.
