CBSE Exam 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the practical dates for classes 10th and 12th for the academic year 2024-25. According to the official calendar, CBSE Board of Trustees Practical exams and internal assessments 2025 for classes 10 and 12 are scheduled to be held from January 1, 2025. Students and parents can check the complete syllabus on the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in.

The official notice reads, “Practical/IA examinations for classes

Along with the exam schedule, the school board has shared guidelines for smooth conduct of exams for students and schools. Here are the details.

  • Class
  • Subject code
  • Subject name
  • Maximum marks on the theoretical exam
  • Maximum marks on the practical exam
  • Maximum scores in project evaluation
  • Maximum marks in internal assessment
  • Whether an external examiner will be appointed for the practical/project assessment
  • Whether practical answer books will be provided by the school board
  • Types of answer books that will be used in theory

The school board shared these details to help schools avoid mistakes that could lead to complications for students during the exam process. CBSE advises all schools to ensure that correct grades are uploaded, emphasizing that no changes will be allowed once grades are submitted.

Practical exam for winter schools in November

Earlier, the board released the dates of practical exams for schools planned for winterwhich will take place between November 5 and December 5, 2024. The subject specification sheets for the theory exams are expected to be published in December. Students preparing for the board exam 2025 are advised to keep checking the official website for the latest updates.

75 percent mandatory attendance

According to official data, around 44 lakh students will undergo the program CBSE Class 10 board exams 2025 in 8,000 schools across the country and abroad. Students must maintain 75 percent attendance to become eligible for the board exam. The board will grant 25 percent relaxation only in case of requirements like medical emergencies, participation in national or international sporting events and other serious reasons. The student concerned must provide the necessary documentation in this regard to the school concerned.
