Actor Bala shares CCTV footage claiming ‘intrusion’ at his home amid controversy with ex-wife: ‘It’s a trap’

Malayalam actor Bala was recently in the news after his arrest on October 14 after his ex-wife filed a complaint accusing him of defaming her and their daughter on social media. However, the actor was granted bail hours after being arrested by a local court. Recently, Bala shared a video on his Facebook, detailing the incident. The actor known for his work in Tamil and Malayalam cinema also shared CCTV footage and narrated how some people tried to break into his house.

Along with the video, he wrote: “It’s a trap. This is the first time in my life that I am confronted with all these things. However, I keep my word. According to a report in News18 Malayam, the actor shared the CCTV footage from the early morning of October 19. In the video, he claimed the video was from 4 a.m. and captured a man and woman with a baby trying to break into his home.

Additionally, Bala is seen talking about how this was an attempt to trap him and this is the first time in his life that he has faced something like this. Furthermore, he claimed that apart from those visible in the CCTV footage, other people were also waiting outside his house at the same time.

Meanwhile, for those unaware, Bala’s recent arrest followed after his ex-wife Amritha alleged that he defamed her and their daughter on social media. In the complaint, she further stated that Bala stalked her and harassed their daughter after their separation. Following this, police arrested Bala from his home and took him for further questioning.

Additionally, Amritha Suresh mentioned that she and her daughter Avantika faced “constant threats” from her ex-husband. At some point everything became unbearable as it started to affect their daughter. On top of that, she claimed that Bala was never interested in meeting their child.

However, the actor was released on bail but ordered not to make any comments on social media against his ex-wife, Amritha Suressh, or their daughter.
