It is of great concern that there is excessive pollution in Sector 36 and neighboring areas. Certain industries operating in this region are the main culprits for the high levels of pollution. Residents are having trouble breathing. The Pollution Control Board must take immediate remedial measures to reduce pollution to acceptable levels.

Residents of Ambedkar Vihar demand action against poor sanitation

Residents of Gali number 10, known as Pataake Wali Gali, near Shiv Vihar Metro station, are sounding the alarm over deteriorating sanitary conditions. Complaints filed with MCD 311 have gone unanswered and some residents say they have been threatened for sharing evidence on social media. They are appealing to the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi to intervene. The stretch from Ambedkar Vihar to Ram Vihar is neglected and has prompted residents to demand a ground survey.
