Watch: Transformation of former Dudley bus station set to continue after site is cleared and ready for work

Express & Star photographer Tim Thursfield took these aerial photos showing the area, ready to begin work on the £24m project, which will link to a new Midland Metro line which is also currently under construction in the city center.

In August, the demolition of a former Farmfoods supermarket was completed, paving the way for the site to be cleared on Fisher Street, just outside Dudley town centre.

Photos show part of the old terminal still in place – it is planned to be part of the new transport interchange.

The project is expected to be completed in 2025.

While work continues, information is being provided for alternative bus stops, also available on the Transport for West Midlands website.
