Leaked Multiplayer Pokémon Game Footage Reveals Mounts in Action and a Gun

More Pokémon leaks have dropped, revealing a cooperative multiplayer game focused on unleashing and mounting mons as well as a gun.

The last few weeks have been crazy for Pokémon fans, as Game Freak suffered a massive data leak, revealing all kinds of never-before-seen game builds, content, and more. Among these leaks is a Pokémon game described as having gameplay similar to Splatoon.

Codenamed “Synapse”, now there’s more information on what this game is. As shared by Centro LEAKS via an article on » where players can ride Pokémon and engage in battles.

As a player, your main objective is essentially to “defeat and ride rampaging Pokémon.” Some gameplay footage was also leaked, featuring different mons as mounts.

When fitting a Pokémon, gameplay footage also showed that you can attack by throwing a Poke Ball from another mon, which will cause it to use its abilities.

Overall, the premise seems to be that of an online cooperative Pokémon game – but there is one interesting addition. Just like a previous leak’s description, this game also featured a gun.

The leaked images showed a gun that looks more like a spray can, matching reports that the game appears to be inspired by Splatoon. There’s no footage of this happening gameplay-wise, but it already feels like a new addition to the franchise.

Some other leaked features also revealed that you can customize mons with paint marks and that the game was initially planned for Nintendo Switch and mobile.

According to leaked information, the game was initially codenamed “Rodeo”. Speculation has suggested that the Rodeo project was canceled and the concept was “taken over by ILCA/Game Freak under the new code name Synapse”.

While it’s unclear if this game will see the light of day, a new version of the game is “potentially still in the works,” according to leaks.
