Shakira Shares New North American Tour Dates After Turning Venues Into Stadiums

Shakira has announced her new North American tour dates for 2025 after transforming performance venues from arenas to stadiums – see the full list of dates below.

Last Friday (October 18), the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer announced on social media, just two weeks before the start of her North American tour, that the concert series was being postponed due to a huge demand.

Following extraordinary demand from fans for more tickets and more shows, Shakira and Live Nation have decided to change all tour venues, from arenas to larger stadiums. However, these changes would mean the shows would take place at a later date – which is now confirmed to begin in May next year.

Shakira wrote on social media last night (October 21): “I’m so excited to share my best show yet with you. Thank you all for supporting me and inspiring me to continue to push myself. I can’t wait to celebrate with you in May! »

Artist pre-sales begin Thursday, October 24 at 12 p.m. local time. Pre-registrations are now open via Shakira’s official website.

Furthermore, the singer recently settled her $15 million Spanish tax fraud case “to protect” her children, “to be by their side” and “to continue her life.”

She discussed her legal battle with Spanish authorities, who accused her of tax evasion between 2012 and 2014 while she was allegedly residing in the country. The singer has denied any wrongdoing, explaining that she agreed to settle to protect her two young sons, Milan, 11, and Sasha, 9.

She was the subject of a first round of allegations in 2021, when Barcelona prosecutors claimed Shakira should have paid taxes because she lived in Spain for an extended period between 2012 and 2014.
