Crime in Delhi: The body of a 30-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds was found on Sunday (October 13) in the Kalindi Kunj area of ​​southeast Delhi, police said. The woman’s partner, Toffiq alias Sonu, has been charged in connection with the case, they said. After receiving information that a woman had been stabbed, a police team rushed to the spot and found her lying in a pool of blood, a senior police officer said.

The victim’s daughter told police that she and her brother found their mother lying unconscious and bleeding on the first floor of their residence around 3 p.m., the officer said.

Criminal and forensic teams were called and examined the scene, the officer added. According to the police officer, the victim’s daughter suspects that Toffiq, her mother’s partner, killed her.

“We have registered a murder case against Toffiq. According to police records, Toffiq is a journalist and is wanted in cases of murder, attempt to murder and criminal intimidation. He is out on bail,” a declared the officer. Several teams were formed to arrest the accused, police said.
