Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy said he would legally respond to the complaint filed against him by Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Chandrashekar in connection with the alleged illegal mining case.

He said the complaint against him was politically motivated.

Kumaraswamy, speaking to media in Bengaluru, said, “The officer claimed that I had threatened him. Where did I threaten him? I made my statements about him with evidence. How can this be considered a threat? This complaint against me is politically motivated. I will not be intimidated and he should not fear me either.

Kumaraswamy admitted that he had held a press conference about this officer, saying: “The media reported what I said. Everyone knows the letter this officer sent to his colleagues after that press conference. press.”

He said investigations into the mining cases against him had been going on for 12 years.

Kumaraswamy added, “This matter will be taken to court and I will face it. I’m not someone who runs away in fear. Neither should he fear me, nor will I fear him. He noted that some people in the state Congress government are politically motivated.
