Man arrested for extortion and mafia intimidation in Torre del Greco

He is accused of having repeatedly threatened, even using weapons, a businessman from Torre del Greco to force him to give him the sum of five thousand euros, a bribe demanded to allow him to continue his activity: for this, a man was arrested by the police, in execution of a provisional custody order issued by the judge of the Naples court, at the request of the DDA. He is accused of attempted extortion aggravated by mafia methods. The events date back to last June. The investigation was carried out by officers from the Torre del Greco police station.
