WARSAW — A Warsaw resident was arrested for allegedly threatening several people during an event in downtown Warsaw.

Billy G. Pullin, 69, of Warsaw, is charged with two counts of intimidation, both level 6; intimidation, a class A misdemeanor; and disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor.

On September 24, a Warsaw police officer responded to a report that a man, later identified as Pullin, was harassing and threatening several people. A man at the scene said Pullin insulted him. When the officer told him he had to stop, Pullin began to curse him.

According to court documents, when the man walked toward the officer in an attempt to make a statement, Pullin began yelling. When the officer told him he was under arrest and to stop yelling, Pullin continued to yell.

The man told Officer Pullin that he had been causing trouble over the past few hours and was disturbing people at an event in downtown Warsaw. Two other witnesses said Pullin yelled and swore at individuals during the event. They also heard Pullin threaten a man at the event.

Pullin denied threatening anyone and then threatened one of the responding officers. He also threatened a police officer while at the Kosciusko County Jail.

Pullin was previously arrested and released on his own recognizance. He will have an initial hearing on Thursday, October 17 at 1 p.m. in Kosciusko Third Superior Court.
