A jealous girlfriend allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death after he greeted another woman on the street.

Natacha Palavecino, 32, attacked her boyfriend Mariano Grinspun, 22, on Monday in González Catán, a town in Buenos Aires, officials said.

Police sources told the Clarín newspaper that Palavecino plunged a kitchen knife into Grinspun’s chest after greeting the unidentified 22-year-old woman, whom Palavecino also stabbed in the left armpit, forearm and by hand.

Disturbing surveillance footage showed Grinspun and Palavecino interacting on the street, with the injured boyfriend eventually collapsing.

Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene, where Palavecino remained and was arrested by police.

Grinspun’s father, Ramón Grinspun, told El Trece television that Palavecino tried to stab his son in July, but he refused to file a police report.

“We went to report it, but he didn’t want to report it because he loved it,” the father said.

Instead, cops issued a protective order banning Palavecino from being 984 feet away from Grinspun.

However, Grinspun vowed to save the relationship and never asked police to renew the restraining order.

“He wanted to start a family with her, start a family with her, but it was a sick thing, both for her and for him,” Ramon said. “We couldn’t start a family with this violence. »

“We learned that he was sleeping in front of the door, like a tied dog, that she was guarding him like a small animal,” Ramon added. “She tied him up and made him sleep outside.”

A neighbor told El Trece that Palavecino often subjected Grinspun to beatings.

“She attacked him with stones, pushed him, spat on him and treated him like a dog,” the neighbor explained. “This woman didn’t love him, she treated him like a toy and a servant.”

Palavecino, who faces a homicide charge, was sentenced to a year in prison for stabbing a former boyfriend in 2021.
