On October 10, members of the Community Street Crime Units from Lambton, Essex and Elgin-Middlesex Counties, with assistance from the OPP Tactical and Rescue Unit Ontario, the Chatham-Kent Police Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit and Intelligence Unit, carried out a raid. two addresses — on Wilkesport Line in St. Clair Township and on Wills Street in Wallaceburg, police said Tuesday.

The estimated value of the items seized is $64,815.

A 35-year-old St Clair Township man is charged with possession of a prohibited firearm or ammunition, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, careless storage of a prohibited weapon, possession not authorized possession of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm. , possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm and possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
