Victim of alleged road rage incident says suspect pointed gun at her at Huntsville High School

Huntsville police are investigating after a victim of an alleged road rage incident told authorities she was confronted by the suspect who pointed a gun at her at the Huntsville High School drop-off point Tuesday morning.

The victim told police she was involved in a road rage incident shortly before 8 a.m. Tuesday when the suspect confronted her in the queue, got out of her vehicle and brandished a gun fired, the sergeant said. Chris Jackson.

The suspect then got back into his vehicle and fled the scene before school resource officers responded, Jackson said.

Police are investigating the incident as a threat.

The investigation was still ongoing Tuesday afternoon.

A spokesperson for Huntsville City Schools could not be reached for comment on the incident.
