Mumbai/IBNS: Paytm Managing Director Vijay Shekhar Sharma has deleted his tribute post to late industrialist Ratan Tata, facing backlash on social media over a particular line.

After Tata’s passing away, Sharma posted on Bye Bye.”

The last sentence did not go down well with several users.

In a new post, Sharma wrote, “RNT was India’s most humble business leader for me. Future generations of business leaders will miss his generous interactions and kindness. Hi Sir, you will live forever in our hearts.”

Ratan Tata, India’s most revered industrialist and philanthropist, died on Wednesday evening at the age of 86 at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.

The former Tata Group chairman and national icon for his august looks and exemplary business ethics was undergoing treatment at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai after his admission during the day. After admission, his condition worsened and became critical.

Ratan Tata’s half-brother Noel Tata has been announced as chairman of Tata Trusts.
