Where to Vote Before Election Day in the Denver Area

DENVER (KDVR) — Election Day is two weeks away, but you don’t have to wait until Nov. 5 to vote.

The election race is tight between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election. While voters will decide who occupies the White House, Coloradans also have a few races to decide and key propositions.

Denver releases sample ballot for November election: here’s what’s on it

Mail-in ballots were sent out in mid-October and drop boxes were opened across the state on Monday, so voters across the state would have ample time to make their voices heard. Although Election Day is the Tuesday in November known for voting in person, there are places where you can vote early in person before November 5.

Where to vote early in person in Denver

As of October 22, 13 polling services and vote centers were open in Denver ahead of Election Day. Be sure to check the days and hours of operation before going to the voting center.

  • Highland Recreation Center – 2880 N Osceola St.

  • Barnum Recreation Center – 360 N Hooker St.

  • Christ Church United Methodist – 690 N Colorado Blvd

  • Tivoli Student Union at Auraria – 900 Auraria Pkwy

  • Blair-Caldwell Library – 2401 Welton Street

  • Hiawatha Davis Jr Recreation Center – 3334 N Holly St.

  • Martin Luther King Jr Library – 9898 E Colfax Ave

  • Montbello Recreation Center – 15555 E 53rd avenue

  • Calvary Baptist Church of Denver – 6500 E Girard Ave

  • Harvard Gulch Recreation Center – 550 E Iliff Ave

  • Harvey Park Recreation Center – 2120 S Tennyson Way

  • University of Denver Dimond Family Residential Village – 2020 S High St.

  • McNichols Civic Center Building – 144 W Colfax Avenue

More service centers, ballot drop boxes and mobile polling stations will open closer to the election and some will open on Election Day.

Colorado Election Resources

Every active registered voter in the state will receive a ballot in the mail. Voters can choose to mail their ballot, return it to a drop box or vote in person.

Ballots must be received by county clerks’ offices by 7 p.m. on Election Day, November 5.
