Intel Core Ultra 200S: CUDIMM, UDIMM and memory controllers

You can download the Core-Ultra-200S-Processor from Intel with the details of its controller. The processor controller is located in the SoC-Tile – with the advanced connections at the processor level, so that Intel with an intelligent C2C interface (Chip two Chip) is used.

Intel offers two motherboards here, two on top and another on top of several available DIMM slots. The guarantee is 6400 MT/s on CUDIMM, even when the board is equipped with two DIMM slots. For motherboards with multiple DIMM slots, the solution is the same with UDIMMs, such as CUDIMMs and specific DDR5-5600, as well as a Speicherkanal pro module in a suitable slot.

Sollen all slots are used, thus reducing the specialized transfer rate to 4,800 MT/s for the 1R drive and DDR5-4400 for the 2R drive.

On the other hand, DDR5-6400 with CUDIMMs on special Mainboards with a professional DIMM-Slot guaranteed. Were there CUDIMMs?

CUDIMM is designed for unbuffered clocked dual in-line memory module. Bereits auf de Computex zeigten die ersten Speicherhersteller entsprechende Module, nannte aber keinerlei weitere Details dazu. CUDIMMs have their own clock driver (Clock Driver, CKD), for regenerating memory chips using timing signals. Damit wird die Signalqualität verbessert and letztendlich werden höhere Betriebsfrequenzen möglich.

Please note that the CUDIMM-Kits are already available. The speed is between 6,400 MT/s and up to 9,000 MT/s. Custom kits are used for the best secure motherboards and cannot be used properly because the CPU controller of a Core-Ultra-200S processor uses them.
