Teenagers survive serious rollover on Gordon Drive Friday evening – Kelowna News

The vehicle was heavily damaged in a rollover on Friday evening.

Two teenagers were involved in a serious crash on Gordon Drive in Kelowna overnight, near where three youths were killed in a crash in 2021.

The single-vehicle crash happened Friday evening on Gordon Drive near the bridge over Mission Creek. The blue vehicle rolled several times, seriously damaging the car.

The two teenage girls in the vehicle are believed to have survived the accident, although their condition is not known.

Photos taken at the scene show the vehicle was damaged beyond repair, with airbags deployed and windows smashed.

The crash happened near where a tragic accident occurred in May 2021, when three Kelowna High School students were killed in a high-speed crash.

Alcohol and speed were determined to be contributing factors in this crash.
