Man charged in East Greenwich teen’s death takes no plea

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — A man accused in the death of an East Greenwich teen pleaded no contest in court today.

Aramis Segura of Charlestown is accused of running 17-year-old Olivia Passaretti off the road on New Year’s Day 2022, resulting in her death.

Prosecutors said Segura was driving recklessly and fled the scene when the crash occurred.

His girlfriend Alicia Peckham was accused of helping him after the accident.

She was convicted of the charges against her in August and will be sentenced in January.
