Diddy was in prison for more than a month, charged with racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution, but her legal saga began some time before that.

Last fall, news emerged that Cassie and Diddy had reached a settlement behind what Cassie said was years of abuse, sexual assault and entrapment. Earlier this year, video footage surfaced of Diddy beating and dragging Cassis to a hotel, which horrified viewers and corroborated Cassie’s allegations of abuse. Soon after, the mogul’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided, and in September he was arrested in New York and unable to post bail after a district judge ruled. several calls were refused.

Puff’s mother released a statement suggesting that her son is innocent and that what is happening is a “public lynching of his son.” However, she didn’t mention anything about the images of her baby placing hands on Cassie.

“These lies being thrown at him are motivated by those seeking financial gain, not justice,” Janice Combs said in her statement to The Hollywood Reporter. “These people saw how quickly my son’s civil legal team settled his ex-girlfriend’s lawsuit, so they believe they can get a quick payday by falsely accusing my son. False allegations of sexual assault prevent real victims of sexual violence from getting the justice they deserve. To make matters worse, the federal government is now using these lies to sue my son.

Janice continued,

“This injustice was unbearable for our family. The worst part of this ordeal is watching my beloved son be stripped of his dignity, not because of what he did, but because of what people choose to believe about him. »

Naturally, Diddy’s kids support him, too.

Mr. “Pop that P” himself also shared his thoughts about what’s going on with Diddy. He also believes this is a systematic elimination of a successful black man. He seems to believe Diddy’s Diageo lawsuit has put a target on his back. In other words, Diddy bit the hand that fed him and now the chickens have come home to roost.

Tyrese’s approach has been less conspiratorial than some others. Instead of spouting conspiracy theories and victim blaming, he wrote: in a social media postin the spring, that he did not condone or support abuse, bullying or sexual harassment, but that he prayed for Diddy, his children, his family, his mother and the alleged victims. He added that Diddy had been nothing but kind and generous to him.
