Authorities have not said how Sanetra died, or what might have triggered the killing.

But they said the two were “in a relationship,” according to an updated statement.

Police found Sanetra’s body Tuesday afternoon after a 911 call was received around 2:30 p.m. saying someone had found a woman dead behind a house in the 1900 block of Maple Avenue, police said. police.

Their investigation — which began shortly after Sanetra’s discovery — led them to Aldrich, who was at a family member’s house in Glendale when they arrested him, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The killing shook the upscale community just south of Los Angeles, where homes routinely sell for well over $1 million.

“It’s quiet (here),” resident Metinee Farley told OnScene TV. “Everyone is nice and it’s a big deal. It’s very scary.

Another neighbor told the outlet that there had been no disturbances at the house, which the suspect had recently purchased — and never “any type of violence or anything like that.”

Other neighbors told media they rarely saw anyone at home.

“I drive by here two or three times a day, seven days a week, and I’ve never seen anyone there,” neighbor Barbara Bruce said, according to People.

“It was for sale, and I know it was sold, but I didn’t see anyone move in.”

“It’s a nice residential area,” added LaPointe, the deputy chief. “That’s something we don’t see very often here.”
