Mississippi cafeteria worker pleads guilty to child exploitation

WALTHALL COUNTY, Miss. (WHLT) – A McComb man pleaded guilty to child exploitation and child pornography in Walthall County Circuit Court.

The Daily Leader reported that Elvis Wayne Holmes, 50, was a cafeteria worker in the Walthall County School District. He pleaded guilty Tuesday, Oct. 22, to one count of child exploitation and two counts of child pornography.

Holmes was sentenced to 30 years in prison by the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC).

According to investigators, the incident occurred off campus and was reported by the school district.
