Law enforcement patrols, searches for suspects in Wheelock after chase

WHEELOCK, Texas (KXXV) — Local law enforcement has been patrolling and searching for suspects in the Wheelock area since Tuesday evening.

Robertson County law enforcement was involved in a pursuit that resulted in individuals crashing their vehicles on State Street in Wheelock and then fleeing the scene.

Authorities have reason to believe the suspects may be in possession of at least one firearm – police are asking anyone living in the area to lock their vehicle, their home and call 9-1-1 if anyone sees anything suspicious.

Police used K9 units, tracking horses, drones and helicopters during their multiple searches. The suspects had still not been located as of Wednesday morning, with law enforcement patrolling throughout the night.
