Police officer denies sexual assault

A police officer has denied two charges of sexual assault which allegedly took place in Cardiff.

Fiona Anderson, 32, from Exeter, appeared at Cardiff Crown Court on Monday and pleaded not guilty.

Both incidents are believed to have taken place in Cardiff in 2018 while Ms Anderson, a female constable with Devon and Cornwall Police, was off duty.

She was initially arrested and released on bail in March 2023 and has since been suspended from duty.

A trial date has not yet been set.
