Spar Nord revises its financial forecasts

Spar Nord revises its after-tax profit expectations for 2024 to DKK 2,100-2,300 million.

In its interim report for the first half of 2024, Spar Nord reiterated its profit after tax forecast for the full year 2024 in the range of DKK 1,950 million to 2,250 million and its basic profit forecast before impairment for throughout the year in the range of DKK 2,600 to 3,000 million.

In the third quarter of 2024, core profit before impairments was in line with the Bank’s expectations, while continued strong credit quality for the bank’s retail and professional customers led to a slight net recovery in impairments for the sixth quarter. consecutive quarter.

In this context, Spar Nord now expects a profit impact from impairment charges of around DKK 0 million for 2024.

As a result, the bank’s profit after tax forecast for the full year is revised to DKK 2,100-2,300 million.

Additionally, the full-year forecast for core profit before impairment is reduced to a range of DKK 2,700 million to DKK 3,000 million.
