Shooting leaves one man and two teenagers injured in Methuen

A man and two teenagers were shot to death in Methuen early Monday morning, police said.

Officers went to the area near Boston Street around 1:03 a.m. after receiving a call about people injured in a shooting, Methuen police said.

A man and a teenager were shot and transported to a local hospital, police said. The suspect left the scene.

Another teen, who police believed was involved in the shooting but who was not at the scene when they arrived, took himself to the hospital.

Police said they found a gun near Swan Street. After officers obtained a search warrant for a home on Boston Street, they also found a gun there.

A suspect has not been found, police said, but they believe this is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.

Law enforcement is still investigating the shooting.
