WOODLAND HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Suspects stole an estimated $300,000 worth of property, including jewelry, cash and a safe, during an overnight burglary at a Woodland Hills home Friday evening, authorities said .

Surveillance video shows two suspects entered by breaking a window on the side of a home in the 22500 block of Dolorosa Street around 12:30 a.m. Saturday, a Los Angeles police spokesperson said. A fleeing driver was waiting in a waiting vehicle.

“There’s been a series of incidents here. Several of our neighbors have had their belongings stolen. I think they’re getting really bold. I think they feel like they can continue to do this here and not face any consequences,” said Woodland Hills resident Brandyn Barillas.

No one was home at the time of the break-in, according to the LAPD.

The homeowner said he was in San Diego with his family and observed the crime live on his surveillance cameras.

The suspects fled and remained at large. Descriptions of the intruders were not available.

Roy, who lives directly across the street from the latest target, said this isn’t the first time the neighborhood has been targeted.

“They did the same thing they did to us about a year ago. They took the safe, showed up with a getaway car and fled,” Roy said.

Surveillance video showed the suspects breaking into Roy’s home through a sliding glass door and taking a safe, as in the last burglary.

Neighbors said they were frustrated by continued crime and asked for more help from law enforcement.

“It’s sad that we can’t escape all the crime that’s been happening in the area lately. The malls that have been hit repeatedly are not safe for us,” said Woodland resident Jeff Feinberg Hills.

No arrests have been made in connection with the burglary.
