Intangible cultural heritage captured in Zhejiang

Some 500 films and photos on intangible cultural heritage are presented at the 2024 Intangible Cultural Heritage Film and Photo Exhibition, which opened in Kaihua County, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province on Wednesday.

They cover a wide range of ICH fields, including traditional crafts, performing arts and ritual celebrations from 22 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, including Zhejiang, Shanxi, Henan, Guangdong, Chongqing and China. Gansu.

The exhibition is organized by the Center for the Development of Ethnic and Popular Literature and Art under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the provincial department of culture, radio, cinema, television and of Tourism of Zhejiang Province, and the Quzhou Government. Nearly 100 participants, including experts and scholars in the field of intangible cultural heritage imagery, representatives of imaging teams and heirs of ICH traditions, were present at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, which will run until Friday.
