Agatha All Along’s Final Tragedy Inspired My First Major Complaint About This Series, But It’s Not About Death Itself

Spoilers below for the final episode, so be warned if you haven’t yet streamed Agatha throughout with a Disney+ subscription.

We are so close to the end of the Witches’ Trail and Agatha throughout as a whole, and I don’t know if I’ll be able to handle the finale night of the double episode. Especially if it means fans get into it without Lilia by Patti LuPone, whose verbal eccentricities ” were ultimately fascinatingly explained in “Death’s Hand in Mine,” albeit at the cost of his livelihood. And while I understand that sacrifices are necessary to raise the stakes, this episode earned me my first big Agatha complaint.

The Salem Seven were one of the most pointless, illogical, and pointless antagonists in the MCU, and I really don’t understand why Liila had to remove herself from the equation to dispatch the vengeful witches. I’m pretty sure the same result could have been achieved via a Scooby-Doo dance sequence in a hallway with lots of illogically connected doors. Here’s why I took such issue with the creepy septet.
